Nathalie Therriault was born to be a creator. As a child, there was nothing more she enjoyed than escaping into her imagination. She was lucky to be able to parlay this penchant for imagining into a successful career. As an auteur, Nathalie is always working on stories and mining through them to get to the core of what she wants to say. As a director, she brings this exhaustive search for truth to the screen, and guides actors to authentic performances. Her multi-award winning films have been shown internationally at the American Pavillion in Cannes, Cleveland International Film Festival, SF Queer Film Festival, and locally at the Oakville Film Festival and the Vancouver Queer Film Festival to name a few. She is currently developing her first feature film, The Awakening.
